SDCC: new Mad Max Posters

It's hard to believe that is been nearly 30 years since the last Mad Max film. Even harder to believe that the film that started it all Mad Max was first released in 1979, becoming a global sensation. Ironically, the only country where it didn't play to sell out crowds was the US, where it was released by the famous grindhouse company, American International (Best known for their Vincent price Horror films and collaborations with Roger Corman). AI promptly dubbed over the original dialogue of the Australian actors thinking American audiences would be confused by the Aussie accents. Mad max would go on to harvest a huge cult following with audiences all over the globe and subsequently triggered two sequels. Fans have been clamoring for creator George Miller to put down his talking animal projects and return to the post-nuke burn out world of Max. Well next year fans will get their wish and to sweeten the deal, Miller is bringing back Max villain actor Hugh-Key Burns to play one of the new bad guys on wheels who dons a mask that will no doubt be a hit at future Comic cons across the globe.
